Carlo Alessandro Bonomi is an Italian-German who lives between New York and London. Alessandro Bonomi's photography suggests his chosen medium, as he uses a scope of different methods from classical darkroom techniques to the use of digital postmodern manipulation for his works. Alessandro works in series; creating different works around subjects, such as modernist architecture, natural environments, merged film/paint works, Asia, and obscure photography. Through these photographic series, Alessandro attempts to convey sociocultural interpretation, most commonly around the recurring theme of socio-demographic changes within his works. Alessandro tends to focus on aesthetics and fluidity, avoiding the restrictions of direct genre or theme, rather molding images around stark imagery and subject to best compliment the ideal behind the printed image.
